We started out with a plain website and a box below the family computer, now we have our own office and awesome website.

I first began packaging gold into bottles for purely selfish reasons, I wanted my kids to have cool treasures they could make the centerpiece of their backyard adventures. Kids love treasures, especially when that treasure is gold!

We started selling gold flakes after I brought in gold flakes to my son's kindergarten class as gifts he could give the children for his birthday (In our school district kids are not allowed to bring in

cupcakes at the kindergarten level, which is what I would have brought).

The kids ended up loveing them and the next day the parents wanted to know more about them and where to buy them, and were dissappointed, to say the least, when I said that I had made them and they were not available for sale in the store.

Parents loved the idea that kids were getting a treasure, and didn't want to be the mom who sent other people's kids home full of sugar (I usually am that mom).

Eventually the entrepreneur in me put it together, that I should package and sell them online, so parents everywhere can gift them, which is what we have been doing ever since.

Are the bottles wet or dry?
They are dry, we do not fill our bottles with liquid.

How much of a family business are you?
My kids help (when I can get them to) fill the bottles, my husband runs our website, and I manage the day to day details.

How much gold is in each vial? How much is 24K gold?
It is a small amount. These are ornamental vials, not meant to be a means to store gold for value.

Where are you located?
We are located in Los Altos, California in the United States of America.

How long does shipping take? Tracking?
3-4 days within the USA, and 6 plus days for international shipments, depending on location. All packages are shipped with tracking.

Can I melt the gold flakes down?
Yes, but it is not reccomended, you will spend multiples over the gold spot price to get the same amount of gold.
